Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter from Lush

I love Lush! It's one of my favorite stores to get (organic) bath and body products. Since I heard about the cuticle butter I wanted to have it, because everyone is so excited about this product, but every time I go to Lush it's sold out/out of stock. Last week I went to Lush, which was an one-and-a-half hour drive from my home.. but I finally got Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter!

Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter, don't you just like names that rhyme. I do. Okay, let's see what Lush has to say about this product.

"We made Lemony Flutter to soften your cuticles; it's our thickest cream out there. It's so good at softening your cuticles and nourishing your nails that LUSH customers have been using it to soften and nourish lots of other body parts like their feet, elbows and knees.
Each batch contains twenty-two pounds of beeswax. A bee would have to fly around the globe 132 times to make that. Lemony Flutter is a slight inversion of our usual mix: it contains much more oil than water and is very heavy. Take more care of your extremities and invest a small sum in a Lemony pot."

Lemony Flutter is a butter, but doesn't feel like a butter and isn't as "thin" as a body butter. It's much thicker, it's more of a wax, but less sticky. This cuticle butter is made for your cuticles. It moisturizes and makes them soft. Your nails won't be dry and hard for a couple days, but they will be soft and smooth. I don't just use it for my cuticles, but I also use it on my elbows and hands. You don't need a lot of product when you use it, a little goes a long way. The smell is lemony. It smells exactly like Italian lemon icecream, which I like. Overall; I'm really glad I got this product, I carry it around in my handbag since I purchased it. No more cuticle oil for me.

Ingredients: Fresh Lemon Infusion(Citruslimonum), Shea Butter(Butyrospermum parkii), Beeswas(Cera Alba), Lanolin, Soya Oil(Glycin Soja), Cold Pressed Avocado Oil(Linum Usitatissimum), Mano Butter(Mangifera Indica), Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Castor Oil(Ricinus Communis), Perfume, Cold Pressed Wheatgerm Oil(Triticum Vulgare), Lemon Oil(Citrus Limonum), Lavender Oil(Lavandula Hybrida), Tagettes Oil(Tagettes Glandulfera), Chamomile Oil(Anthemis Nobilis), Gardenia Extraxt(Gardenia Jasminoides), Citral, Gernoil, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

The pictures above show the result of using Lemony Flutter. In the first picture you see my cuticles all dry and it even looks painfull. The second picture is much better if you look at the cuticles and it doesn't even look that oily. (The cutcile of my middlefinger is alway a mess, even if I do push it back. I don't like to cut my cuticles.)

What do you use for your cuticles? Have you ever tried Lemony Flutter?
