Essence Scented Top Coat

Have you every heard of scented nail polish? Polish that smells amazing like fruit or flowers?! I have, accidentally. I bumped into a giveaway a few months back, and they gave away some Revlon scented polishes. I did won one of the scented polishes in Passion Fruit, and it smelled amazing. A huge disadvantage was that there was no scented polish to find and purchase nearby. Not anymore!

Dior came with two scented polishes for their new spring 2012 collection. But what I'm most excited about is that Essence, the very budgetproof brand, came with a scented topcoat. Now you can choose whatever color you like and polish it on your nails, and add a layer of the scented topcoat to get that amazing smell.

The scented top coat is part of the Fruity Limited Edition line from Essence. When you first smell the bottle or polish you wouldn't smell a thing. Once you applied the polish onto the nails and the polish is completely dry, you will smell the scent. The Essence top coat smells a little bit like chemical strawberries. It smell exactly like the strawberry showergel from the Body Shop. I like the smell, but I understand some of you might dislike the scent.

The scent and polish will stay on for three days. The scent fades away after a while. The top coat is just an extra and is, in my eyes, not really meant to protect your nails from chipping.
