Rainbow Tag! Nail Polish Edition

I think every blogger or YouTuber has done the Rainbow tag. I wanted to do this tag too and made a beauty edition of it, then I deleted it cause I don't think a beauty related article suits my nail blog. Then I decided to make the Rainbow Tag, nail polish only, and so I did! :D

My Favorite Polishes for Summer 2012

I guess many of you are already halfway, but my summer vacation just started yesterday. Even though it´s raining outside and the weather sucks, I´m going to share my favorite nail polishes for this summer. Helloooo neon and pastel polishes!

New Catrice Polishes 2012

It's been three, months ago since Catrice came with some new polishes. Not just new colors for the spring and re-released polish, the polishes also came with new brushes. In February I got some new Catrice polishes. Here are some swatches and a review on these new polishes.

NOTD: The Hunger Games Effie Trinket Manicure

May the odds be ever in your favour.

The Hunger Games, the whole world is talking about it, and so am I. I have seen the movie exactly one week ago and was so excited when I saw the nails of Effie Trinkets, played by Elizabeth Banks, on screen. If you watched really good and close, you might have seen a couple manicures on Effie. I just chose to do the manicure she is wearing in the beginning of the movie, during the lottery.

Day #10 Gradient Nails

I'm never going to do this again! I love the gradient effect and I took a lot of time to do this manicure on all my nails. But once I thought everything was dry and I started to take photos, the nail polish decided to start moving around and ruïn my manicure.. TG I got enough decent photos to show right here!

Day #9 Rainbow

I had the design for this manicure in my head since I knew there was a rainbow manicure coming up. I wanted to do a french rainbow manicure and this is how my nails ended up looking.. rainbow style!

Day #7 Black and White

Black and white! I didn't wanted to do a regular black and white manicure and paint my nails alternately. No, before the seventh day I already knew I wanted to do a french manicure.

Day #4 Green Nails

Green. Just as orange, green is a color that I don't wear that often, just because I don't like the color. I do like green colors and polishes that are slightly different, like this one!

Day #3 Yellow Nails

Oh, how do I love yellow nails! Especially pastel yellow and I own a lot a pastel yellow nail polishes. It was hard for me to find the prettiest one I have, but I think, no I'm pretty sure this one is.

Day #2 Orange Nails

Orange, orange, orange. Orange is the national color of Holland and the only time I wear orange is on Queensday or when the Dutch national scoccer team plays. Besides that, orange is just an ugly color I never wear. But for this challenge I made an exception.

FOTM: Catrice Walk On Air

New month, new favorite nail polish of the month. This favorite is not really a color that suits the season well. It's winter and the last month I almost only wore this beautiful color.

Catrice is probably my favorite brand that has very budgetproof nail polish. The nail polishes are amazing. They have great quality for a low price and they always have the newest and fashionable polishes. That means they have to change their fixed range, which they do every fall and spring. In this article I'll show you swatched of the polishes that will be discontinued in a short amount of period. So, if you want to get some of these, now is your time!

FOTM: Catrice Goldfinger and GOSH Gold

Not one but two polishes! I'm in gold nail polish.. again! I've showed you the gold polish from GOSH before, back in Januari. But the fotm I made then is just so aweful to read I decided to show you this polish again, and this time with another favorite polish of mine.

FOTM: Bye Bye Birdy

So I haven't done a Favorite Nailpolish Of The Month in a while; it's has been 4 months since my last one. Time to pick up the routine again. Starting of with my favorite nailpolish of the month May.

Catrice "Caught On The Red Carpet"

Caught On The Red Carpet is my favorite nailpolish at this moment! The color is a dark red, perfect for this time of year.

This first thing that noticed me is the look. The bottle looks very luxury to me. You can compare the bottle to a GOSH or MAC nailpolish. They all are rounded and have a black top.

COTRC is a creambase nailpolish. Which is my favorite. It apllies very nicely. The polish is dry after a few minutes. Time enough to put a second coat on your nails. A second coat for me is neccesary because the nailpolish is still a bit seethrough after one coat.
The sustainability was for me two days. In those two days I washed my hands very often, so I think if you didn't the polish on your nails would last three of four days.

This polish belongs to Catrices' Ultimate Lacquers, it's not limited edition. You can get it anywhere they sell Catrice. It very cheap. Here in Europe you will pay around 2/3 euro's for it.
