Rainbow Tag! Nail Polish Edition

I think every blogger or YouTuber has done the Rainbow tag. I wanted to do this tag too and made a beauty edition of it, then I deleted it cause I don't think a beauty related article suits my nail blog. Then I decided to make the Rainbow Tag, nail polish only, and so I did! :D

Nails In Videos

Nails In Videos. Pfoeh! Haven't done an edition of this in more than one year. Biggest reason for that might be that my favorites artists didn't made a video in the last year. Reason I wanted to do one right now is because of the newest video from Miley Cyrus. Oh my gawsh, her nails looked amazing! Unfortunately no fancy high end nail art this time, but great artist with plain and beautiful nails.

My Rose Golden Nails

Gold was hot in 2012. Golden jewelry, golden nail polish and golden prints and quotes on clothing. Rose golden is in style and indispensable this year, 2013. What better way to match your rose golden jewelry and accessories with your nails. I haven't found any rose golden nail polish yet so I decided to make my own!

Max Magnetic Nail Polish Set

I got these magnetic nail polishes from Max not too long ago. I've tried magnetic polishes from Essence before, but unfortunately, those were not great. They just didn't work for me. Then I saw this set of magnetic polishes in the stores for only €1,50. I couldn't let them just lay there. I had to take them with me.

FOTM: China Glaze 'Electrify'

The polishes from the China Glaze Hunger Games collection are available since a while and when the collection just came out I didn't really had the needs to purchase a polish from that collection. Not too long ago I was browsing around the web looking for swatches from the HG collection. O, my gosh! I needed to have Electrify and I purchased the polish right away.

Day #16 Tribal Print

Tribal nails! Again, what are tribal nails!? Just a tribal design on your nails?
When I googled to find out and see what tribal nails were, I found some manicures that looked more like an aztec manicure than a tribal manicure. Ah, well. I made my own tribal manicure, and this is what it looks like. Don't ask me what I did with the nail of my ringfinger. I doesn't match the other nails.

It was fun to make such an manicure, but a pain it the butt to get all this polish dry. The manicure didn't lasted long. Within half a day this manicure was no more. Plus my cuticles look aweful!

NOTD: European Soccer Chamionship 2012

The time is here! Today is the kick off of the European soccer Championship 2012. Sixteen countries will compete to become Europeans number one team. The Netherlands, my country, is back in action. Two years ago we became second during the world soccer championships.
Since I'm a huge fan of soccer and all soccer events, I want to remain the great atmosphere and be a part of the orange legion, as we Dutchies say. How would I do that? With nails of course! Let me show you my nails for this Euro 2012.

Tutorial: Drag Marble Flowers

These drag marble flowers were my day #14 manicure on the 31 day nail challenge. Before I did the manicure, I already decided I wanted to do marbled flowers. I just love this manicure. Now, I'm here to tell and show you how to recreate this nailart manicure.

Day #14 Flowers

I love flowers, and I have to be honest. The first time I saw 'flowers' on the list of the 31 nail challenge manicures I'm doing, I already decided what I wanted to do. I wanted to do a flower dragmarble. This is how it turned out, pretty nice if you ask me.

Day #1 Red Nails

Day numero uno of the 31 Day Manicure Challenge! Honest. I love red nails, but I never wear a red polish. Never realized which one I own is actually my favorite red polish. After going through my red nail polishes I think this one is.

NOTD/Tutorial: Love Lace!

I just did my nails with Konad. This is what I made: A cute(I think it's cute) lace nail made with just one Konad image plate. The idea of this nail art is not from myself but from Meliney, a Australian woman who makes lots of different nail art tutorials on YouTube. Not only with Konad but also freehanded nail art. This is how my nails look like right now, after watching a video from Meliney and trying it just once on my nails.

NOTD: Merry Christmas!

First of all: Merry Christmas to all!

Today I want to share my nail of the day with you guys! I wanted to have nice nails for christmas. The nailart didn't turned out the way I wanted it but here it is:

What did I use?
Ruby Pumps from China Glaze and the Christmas imageplate from Konad with its special polishes.
O, and you cannot see my thumb but it has the 'Merry Christmas' image in black.

That's it!
Have a nice day!

Tutorial: American Flag

First of all: I didn’t planned this look. This look is different than the looks I said I was going to do this month. I’m sorry. I’ll put the other nail art I promised to do online in December.

Catrice "Caught On The Red Carpet"

Caught On The Red Carpet is my favorite nailpolish at this moment! The color is a dark red, perfect for this time of year.

This first thing that noticed me is the look. The bottle looks very luxury to me. You can compare the bottle to a GOSH or MAC nailpolish. They all are rounded and have a black top.

COTRC is a creambase nailpolish. Which is my favorite. It apllies very nicely. The polish is dry after a few minutes. Time enough to put a second coat on your nails. A second coat for me is neccesary because the nailpolish is still a bit seethrough after one coat.
The sustainability was for me two days. In those two days I washed my hands very often, so I think if you didn't the polish on your nails would last three of four days.

This polish belongs to Catrices' Ultimate Lacquers, it's not limited edition. You can get it anywhere they sell Catrice. It very cheap. Here in Europe you will pay around 2/3 euro's for it.
